Works great for some mini z racing. Can even be used for the tv remotes.

Listing says it's for both AA and AAA but it arrived and it's not even close to fitting the AAAs

Charging took forever. The LED lights indicated the battery was not complete but when tested showed battery was fully charged. The fitting of the AAA batteries is off and causes mixed charge status. The LED lights indicated the battery was not complete but when tested showed battery was fully charged. And vice versa, shows green as charged but battery was very low or dead. Had to use a Amazon purchased charger to get Protek AAA's charged. Buyers beware. Purchased Charger in Feb 2026

I wish I could get these to work. I've tried multiple wall chargers and the supplied cable. The batteries don't seem to register and will not charge. Online suggestions didn't make a difference. They also feel a little cheap and thin compared to other battery chargers I've used.

What reviewers say

Reviewers are divided. One verified owner rates it highly, saying it works well for Mini-Z racing and TV remotes. The other three reviews are critical, with two reporting that the AAA slots do not fit batteries properly. One reviewer reports batteries not registering or charging despite trying several power sources, and another reports misleading LED status that does not match battery state. Reviewers also describe the build as thin and cheap, and one reports slow charging. The recurring issue is AAA fit and unreliable charge indication.

  • + Works well for Mini-Z racing

  • − AAA slots do not fit batteries properly
  • − Batteries may not register or charge
  • − LED status does not match actual charge
