Larger than the Flashpoint and Mugen bags - roughly the same width, but 1-row of shock bottles longer. Every other "fluids bag" is simply a structureless, floppy zip up bag, while this one has corrugated plastic dividers and framework, making this bag quite sturdy by comparison. Has a rough textured base and even a zip-up storage area on the underside of the zippered top. Only thing to note - large TLR shock oil bottles do *not* fit. Flashpoint bottles fill the partitions perfectly as though made specifically for them, while smaller diameter "standard" sized shock and diff oil bottles will rattle around ever so slightly. This will be a mainstay in my garage and in my pit bag.
So far so good! Fits great in my 1/10 hudy carrier drawer and holds all my glues, oils, and fluids.
Protek makes great bags. I have this one along with their buggy storage bag w/ containers and their 1/8 scale buggy travel bag. All are great and affordable. Well made and interior plastic partitions make organizing and separating shock & diff fluids easy.
This bag is a little expensive so I took off a star. Other than that, it is a must have for anyone that has multiple fluids for racing/different cars. I do not race, but I own several cars. This holds my main diff and shock oil selections for all my vehicles. Absolutely recommend.
Great item to add to the gear collection. I liked it so much I bought a second one. Inserts are heavy duty to not have to worry about them falling apart anytime soon. Only thing I wish is if they had some type of label system on board or alternate color options to differentiate between my shock and diff fluid bags.
Reviewers generally rate the ProTek shock and differential fluid bag highly, describing it as sturdier than typical floppy fluid bags because of its corrugated plastic dividers and framework. It is described as larger than comparable Flashpoint and Mugen bags, with a textured base and an underside zip storage area. Several reviewers say it holds Flashpoint bottles snugly. One reviewer notes that large TLR shock oil bottles do not fit, and standard-diameter bottles can rattle slightly. Another reviewer finds the price high. A reviewer also wishes for labelling or colour options to tell shock and diff bags apart.
