nice handle but the tip broke on the second use.. feel like i threw my money out
This is a really cool tool to add to your set. It makes changing your exhaust springs a very easy task. Nice quality and looks very stylish.
I picked this up a few months ago and what a nice tool for removing and adding springs to you motors and pipes. No more using a pair of pliers and damaging the springs. Super fast and safe.
Good quality tool. Keeping in line with other ProTek stuff.
Very disappointed. Tip snapped off today. Now I'll just file the tip down and use it as a pick to clean out clogged screws from the bottom of the chassis. Not a total lost I guess.
Reviewers are divided on the ProTek RC TruTorque Spring Clip Remover. Three of five reviews (all 5/5) praise it as a quick, easy and safe way to fit and remove spring clips on motors and pipes, avoiding damage from pliers, with good build quality and a stylish look. The two 1/5 reviews, both from verified owners, report the tip breaking after very little use, one within the second use. One of these owners said they repurposed the broken tool as a pick. Breakage of the tip is the recurring problem raised, while the reviews do not indicate how common the failure is.
