These have a proper vintage style/look and I like they are white so I can paint them easily. The tires are glued well. Some fellow racers think these tires do not"work as well" as the other brand but these feel fine to me.
Required for the class spec and they look awesome.
Is what it js, a tire required for racing in the VTA class. Pros: 1. Look nice, has a classic car tread and wheel design. 2. Seem to last a long time compared to other racing tires, but that is probably partly due to these being designed for 25.5T motors which aren't exactly setting the track on fire. Fit fine on both of my chassis. Cons: 1. Traction isn't what I'd call good, but that is the nature of the VTA class. 2. White wheels stain up easily. I'll be buying the black wheels going forward. 3. Very Expensive, about double what slicks cost.
Three verified owners rate this pre-mounted rear tire 4 to 5 out of 5. Reviewers agree it has a vintage look with a classic tread and wheel design, that it is white so it can be painted, and that it is required for the VTA class spec. Tires are reported to be glued well and to fit on multiple chassis. Reviewers differ on performance: one says it feels fine, while another notes traction is modest, which they attribute to the class. Recurring drawbacks mentioned are white wheels staining easily and a high price, reported as roughly double that of slicks. One reviewer reports long wear, though they attribute this partly to low-power motors.
