Fantastic design and quality. Five stars! Wish I had purchased one sooner. Buy it now!
I can’t believe I paid $160+ for this. Poorly built with under powered motor, even comes with an extra motor, I guess they know it’s not gonna last. I think the non motor version could probably helpful if you clamp it to a bench, but needs finer tuning ability and better build quality especially for this price. Feels like a beta version, I want to pay $160 for when they come out with the production version, not this beta plastic thing
This jig got a little messy for my first 4 stadium truck tires (Pro Line Bald Eagles 2.0) on (JConcepts 12mm Hex 2.2" Super Dish wheels), but I have to say, I glued them much better and more thoroughly than I usually do on my own without the jig. Also, I used protek glue and used a metal tip attachment (PTK-1576) with a (0.8mm hole). I used tire bands which helped a lot. Update: I've glued 3 sets of stadium truck tires and this little thing is finicky. You have to pay attention to the set screw that opens the bead for the glue. The tires barely fit on and when they do, the motor whines and sometimes stops. I had to extend the level of the arm all the way up. Once I got the bead open, I was so relieved. Also, I wasn't able to use it on the revolver rpm wheels that have NO offset. The wheels with the 1/2" offset fit better. I still haven't tried any buggy tires on this thing. It might do better with those smaller wheels.
