Very nice, just a little bit short for my use, but okay. Even though boat sets further back, about four inches behind the rear crossmember of the trailer, a fair amount of weight is placed on the trailer hitch. Perhaps in the future I will remove the battery box, move the bow V block (Winch stand on a 1:1 trailer) forward and power the trailer lights from the tow vehicle, a Traxxas Bronco. Be nice if RC4WD had a third option, trailer the length of the triple axle, but with two axles. Triple axles (even the twin axle) are not scale for the length of boats in that scale. The ability to upload a picture would be a great addition to reviews.
Overall build/fit/finish quality of all the metal (and plastic) parts is Excellent. Packaging was very good. My only complaints: (why 4/5 stars) 1) One of the tires rubs on the trailer frame. This issue was partially fixed by moving the 12mm hex hub further out on the axle. 2) Many lug nut screws/nuts were loose. Some (3) were so loose they had fallen out of the wheels/hubs and were loose in the packaging. They are tiny (1.5mm) but I managed not to loose any. I would recommend this product.
The Trailer is Perfectly fit on my boat I like it looks good and running good.
Reviewers rate the RC4WD BigDog 1/10 Dual Axle Scale Boat Trailer between 4 and 5 out of 5 and generally praise its build quality, fit and finish, and appearance. One reviewer found the trailer a little short for their boat, noting the boat sits about four inches behind the rear crossmember and places considerable weight on the hitch, and suggested rearranging the battery box and bow V block. Another reported a tire rubbing on the trailer frame, partly resolved by moving the hub outward. Loose lug nut hardware, with some fasteners falling out during packaging, was a recurring complaint. One reviewer wished for a two-axle option the length of the triple-axle version, and another asked for photo uploads in reviews. Overall sentiment is positive, based on three reviews.
