Anonymouson RC4WD King Off-Road 1/10 Scale Dual Spring Shocks (100mm)

Best shock out there, period. Functions incredible. Some may say otherwise because they don’t properly build these. You need to grease o-rings by hand as well as fill your oil which makes it fun to maintain. You feel the benefit when the oil degrades and you clean your internals for fresh grease and fluid. If you don’t run oil, these shocks will feel very notchy out of the box. I recommend a rebuild whenever the shaft looks a bit grey and oily. Seals just need more grease between rebuilds, ive been doing these for years and have yet to change one O-ring. 10 total shocks between two trucks (90mm/100mm/110mm) and have never let me down between maintenance intervals.

For my purpose they were not useable, not sure about leaking since they were never ran. Ball ends are not easily replaced, I could not get the bottoms ball end out which made it not applicable for my usage.

Very good quality but the springs are huge. Be aware of fitment concerns.

I bought this for my wraith, it was way to big so i sold it forward. looked nice and everything.

Meh, they're nice. I have the 90mms and the 110s as well. These are the only ones I don't like. They don't travel all the way. The top cap is to big and doesn't allow complete travel. Like I said, they look awesome and are constructed well, but. I was extremely disappointed when I bought 100mm shocks and got the travel of a 95mm shock because the top cap was to big

What reviewers say

Reviewers agree the shocks are well constructed and look good, but they split on performance and fit. One long-term owner who runs oil and rebuilds regularly praises their function and says they feel notchy without oil. Other reviewers report fitment problems: springs described as huge, a top cap considered too large for one Wraith, and one buyer who says the shock does not reach full travel. Another reviewer found the ball ends difficult to remove and judged the shocks unusable for their purpose. Two of the five reviews are from owners who recommend regular maintenance, and several reviews note that rebuilds and greasing are needed.

  • + Well constructed
  • + Good build quality
  • + Functions well when maintained with oil and grease
  • + Looks good
  • − Fitment concerns with spring size
  • − Top cap may limit full travel
  • − Ball ends difficult to remove
  • − Notchy feel without oil
