Awesome rig! Looks incredible runs great out of the box. The transmitter included with the kit is actually better then I expected, 3 channel with plenty of adjustments. Great "scale" truck with tons of upgrade parts if you want to go that route. My only gripe is that the rear bumper, roll bar, and rock sliders are all plastic.

Nice truck! Went thru all the screws and everything was tight. I had read online that sometimes RC4wd sends trucks out with loose or missing screws. All I can say is WOW! Thanks to Amain hobbies it was sent fast and secure. You have a new customer.

What reviewers say

Reviewers generally praise the Marlin Crawler Trail Finder 2's scale looks, detailing, and out-of-the-box crawling, with many describing it as a fun, capable scale truck. Shipping and seller service are frequently mentioned positively. Several reviewers report that the kit needs setup work: screws were loose or overtightened, and threadlocker is recommended. Suspension is a recurring point of disagreement; some find the leaf springs and stiff shocks too stiff or poorly performing and modify them, while others consider the leaf-spring setup realistic. Some report a poorly brazed front bumper, power described as modest, and a basic servo. The transmitter was noted as better than expected by one reviewer. Ratings are mostly 5/5 with a few lower scores.

  • + Scale looks and detailing
  • + Good out-of-box crawling
  • + Fast shipping and seller service
  • + Realistic leaf-spring suspension
  • − Loose or overtightened hardware
  • − Stiff suspension and shocks
  • − Poorly brazed front bumper
  • − Modest power and basic servo
