I ordered these straight from RC4WD. They look awesome. Only lasted 2 runs. The front tires got a puncture. And when you drive now the tires just cave in and are deflated like. Basically you’re riding on the rims. Looks awesome Doesn’t last.
I assumed being the “XL” version that they would be taller. These are shorter than stock tires.
Editing my previous review and adding 1 star if the tire is used strictly on mud. No trails with rocks and roots and definitely no traditional rock crawling.
Three reviews of the RC4WD Mud Slinger 2 XL 1.9" Scale Tires (X2), all rated 2 to 3 out of 5. One reviewer reports the tires lasted only two runs, with a puncture in the front tires and the sidewalls caving in so the rim effectively rides on the ground. Another reviewer expected the XL version to be taller and found these shorter than stock tires. A third reviewer rates the tires higher, at 3 stars, but notes they suit only pure mud use and are unsuitable for trails with rocks and roots or traditional rock crawling. Reviewers agree on good looks, while durability and sizing are the main concerns. The sample is small.
