Durable 4WD Drivetrain
The Trail Finder 2 LWB features an R3 Scale Single Speed Transmission with wide steel gears, a Delrin spur gear, and an integrated slipper clutch for dependable power delivery. The Hammer Transfer Case uses hardened steel gears and an all-metal housing, while the Yota II axles provide a 2.67:1 gear ratio for controlled crawling performance. Durable driveshafts with steel universal joints help maintain reliable power transfer and accommodate the suspension movement encountered on challenging trails.
Long-Wheelbase Chassis and Realistic Suspension
The CNC-machined billet aluminum ladder frame provides a strong foundation for the truck's 310mm wheelbase. Adjustable shock hoops, billet aluminum Ultimate Scale Shocks, and super-soft flex leaf springs combine realistic appearance with functional suspension articulation. The included leaf-under mounts lower the vehicle's stance for a more authentic scale look, while the Marlin Crawler side plastic sliders help protect the sides when navigating rocky terrain.
Scale Axles and Enhanced Steering
The Yota II Ultimate Scale Cast Axles feature realistic cast housings, removable differential covers, lower mounting points, and an offset front differential housing. Upgraded front XVD axles and 8-degree round steering knuckles provide improved steering capability while maintaining the truck's scale appearance. With a 31.9:1 final drive ratio and compatibility with a wide range of RC4WD upgrades, the Trail Finder 2 LWB is well suited to customized trail builds and technical crawling.
