RCPROPLUS DC5 "Solderless" Supra X Battery Connector Set (4 Sets)
About this part
RC Pro Plus has been at the forefront of battery connector development for years. Providing high quality, and high reliability, RCPP has quickly became a leader within the industry.
Meet the "REB 5810 DC5 S.T" aka DC5 "Dual Color" Solderless connectors! Solderless? Absolutely! Solderless connections are more commonly found in applications outside the R/C industry, and inherently provide lower point of fatigue within the connection.
The RCPP Solderless connectors are built with the ability to install the connectors to each application in minutes. With the bare wires exposed, each bullet connector utilizes one setscrew to create a secure mechanical connection.
Features:
- Use with batteries, speed controllers and chargers
- Solderless - Full mechanical connection
- Large, low resistance contact patch
- 'Click' connection
- Hassle free assembly

these connectors suck. purchased 3 packs specifically for 10AWG because that is what my battery and ESC is and also my charging leads. once i get the wire stripped and into the bullet i start to tighten the grub screws but i cannot get the grub screws to tighten far enough into the bullet connectors to be flush with the outside of the bullet connector. the grubs protrude outside the bullet and will not allow the connector to be pushed fully into the housing. if i try to tighten the grub screws so they are flush , this strips the grub screw threads out of the bullet connectors. wow , what a waste of money... talked to the guys at the field , they see what i am describing and say i should have gotten the REB7808STS7P8 7mm solderless connectors that are good for 10AWG and 8AWG , this will give me more room to tighten the grub screws... unfortunately now that i have unwrapped the 3 packages of DC5 connectors , i cannot return them... so lesson learned , make sure to get the S7 7mm REB7808STS7P8 connectors...
The only connector I use now on over a dozen models. So much easier than soldering, and I’ve had no issues with fit, finish or quality of the materials.
After using Supra s7 connectors on a big heli for a while, I had very high hopes for these. I would stay away, these are not good. Very poorly made, plastic feels brittle and the holes for the set screws look like they were threaded with a hammer, the threads look completely trashed out of the package.
Reviewers are divided on this solderless connector set. Two reviewers rate it 1/5 and report poor build quality: set-screw threads stripping or looking damaged out of the package, grub screws that protrude past the bullet so the connector cannot seat fully in its housing, and brittle plastic. One reviewer rates it 5/5, using it on over a dozen models and reporting no fit, finish or material issues. Reviewers agree the connectors are easier than soldering when they work, but the set-screw fit problem is the main recurring complaint. Only three reviews were available, and the 10AWG use case appears in one negative review.
