After years of using almost every connector available for 700 class helicopters, I have settled with these. From the ease of soldering, and simplicity of assembly, these connectors are at the top for me. With the additional security "click" when fully inserted, you know the connector will not fail in the most demanding scenarios of 3D flying. After your purchase, you will wonder why you didn't make the switch earlier.
Great connector. But, I don't know why Amain is recommending using a male and female connector on EACH side. Everyone I know uses the female "cup" on the battery side and the male "pin" on the ESC side. There's no harm in following the image Amain shows. It will work and there's no danger. But, you won't be able to share packs with anyone doing it the 'normal way'....worse, you won't be able to charge someone elses/have someone charge a pack for you at the field.
I am now making the switch to these connectors........after another "Tee" type plug came unplugged during flight from the ESC to the series connector, causing a crash to the tune of $200. Could have bought a lot of these connectors!!!!
These were the exact fit to replace Surron X Bee battery terminals.
All four reviewers rate this connector 5/5 and praise its ease of soldering, simple assembly, and the audible click that confirms full insertion. One reviewer reports it as a secure replacement for a failed connector in a 700-class helicopter, and another says it fits Surron X Bee battery terminals. A verified owner notes a wiring concern: the product image shows a male and female connector on each side, whereas the reviewer says most users pair a female battery side with a male ESC side, which may limit pack sharing and charging with others. No reviewer reports a failure of the connector itself.
