The Redcat SixtyFour Chevrolet Impala SS Classic 64 edition is a 1:10 scale, ready-to-run RC lowrider inspired by the iconic 1964 Chevy Impala SS 2-door hardtop. It features magnetic body mounts, an upgraded hopping bellcrank, enhanced servos, black suspension links, redesigned rims, tires, and comes in three color options. About the SixFour

Body

SixtyFour is a detailed 1/10 scale replica of a 1964 Chevrolet Impala. It features intricately molded details such as chrome bumpers, grille, trim, and emblems. The body comes pre-painted and assembled, showcasing the iconic lowrider style with attention to authenticity. With its classic design, it also incorporates adjustable components for realism and customization options to suit various lowrider preferences.

Suspension & Servos

The SixtyFour is crafted for smooth cruising and trick performance, thanks to its advanced suspension system. Equipped with specialized servos and precise weight distribution, it delivers an authentic lowrider or hopper driving experience. Recent upgrades include a powerful 4KG metal gear steering servo, Hexfly Torque Spec 35KG rear lifting servos, and a custom-built ultra-fast Reefs V2 hopping servo. An adjustable front longitudinal hopping bellcrank, along with black-finished steering and suspension links, enhances both its performance and sleek visual appeal.

Electronics

HKVerified owneron Redcat SixtyFour Chevrolet Impala 1/10 RTR Scale Hopping Lowrider (Orange/White)

The car overall works very well and is beautiful. A star was removed for a few reasons: 1) The body is magnet mounted, but body on the rear seems to pop off easily during use. The chassis side magnets were also missing from the one I received, so they had to be added myself. 2) The interior does not look good and is very flat. For the amount of money that is asked plus how good the outside of the body looks, I feel like the interior could have been a bit more detailed or had the windows tinted. 3) NiMH battery is fine given the application, but banana style connectors in the big 2025 seems like an insult, and having the included adapter be for a banana to Tamiya to be silly as it's an outdated connector to another outdated connector. Deans connector would also be outdated, but would have been nicer to see than banana or Tamiya connectors. 4) Again, given the price point, it is disappointing that AA batteries for the transmitter is not included. There are $100 mini and micro cars nowadays that include batteries for the transmitter, so it should be a no brainer to include them with a $500 car.
