These are excellent replacement packs anywhere you would use a 5 cell nimh receiver pack. I use one in a Revo Platinum, it has flat discharge curve and stays over 7 volts for a long time. Great for power hungry HV servos.
Perfect fit for my Xray 1/8 onroad nitro car, which is a very tight space. Lots of battery capacity.
Never had any issues with it, a great value for the $!
Updating my review. I used this in one qualifier and the battery dropped a cell while warning up for the next One sits at 4v and the other is zero. Thankfully it happened while I was warming up on the bench and not while running.
Battery works great, small enough for 1/8 onroad in case you are wondering..
Reviewers generally praise this 2S flat LiPo receiver pack for its compact size, which suits tight chassis such as a 1/8 onroad nitro car, and for its capacity and steady voltage under load. Four of five reviews are positive and describe good value and reliable use. One verified owner reports a cell imbalance after a qualifier, with one cell at zero and the other at 4V, and notes the fault appeared on the bench rather than during a run. This is the only report of a failure, and reviewers do not discuss how often such problems occur.
- + Compact size fits tight spaces
- + Good capacity
- + Flat discharge curve holds voltage
- + Good value for the price
- − One report of cell imbalance and dropped cell
- − Single failure report limits confidence in long-term reliability
