Fantastic Power switch! Mounted perfectly on my Kyosho Mp9 Tki4, low profile, simple to use, reliable. ended up buying a second switch for my team Associated RC10GT Restoration project. will definitely but again if needed.
Functions fine. Great price point. Wires are very light gauge. Wire gauge should be heavier to at least match what Reedy uses on their Lipo receiver battery which seems twice as heavy gauge. Would be 5 stars if wires were heavier gauge.
***EDIT*** - While my experience with the switch remains the same (see below), Amain very graciously, and under no obligation to do so, refunded the entire purchase price for this switch. That is top of the line service in my book. Thank you again. Didn't even last a gallon of fuel for me in my nitro bug before it started randomly started just turning off during a race. And yes, I've been racing for over 25 years, so the receiver battery is charged, the wires are protected/routed correctly, and it is mounted as it should be. Just not a good switch for some reason. :(
Perfect - I was so tired of having to take the cover off to unplug battery. Tested this and works great. I have a transponder so replaced the bottom cover with the extra cover that comes with it, and used servo tape in a secure position. Tested in both LiPo and NiMh
Reviewers generally find the Reedy Electronic Power Switch easy to use, low profile and reliable, with one reviewer buying a second unit. Mounting is described as straightforward, and it works with both LiPo and NiMH packs. The main recurring concern is wire gauge: one reviewer found the leads light and suggested heavier wire to match Reedy's receiver battery leads. One reviewer reported the switch randomly cutting out during a nitro race after about a gallon of fuel, despite checks on battery, wiring and mounting; that reviewer was refunded by the seller. The sample is small (four reviews, all for the standard variant).
