Have 2 of these batteries, one in a Tmaxx and one in a savage 4.6. Both trucks have had no issues with running these batteries. They hold a charge really well as long as you remember to turn off the receiver power switch when done. In the Tmaxx, it doesn’t fit completely in the battery compartment. I can’t tighten it fully down, so it isn’t waterproof. But the battery fits and is functional. In the savage it fits fine.

Fast shipping. I've been using these receiver packs for a few months now and they haven't let me down yet. No more brown-outs and run aways. I can run all day with 2 packs and multiple vehicles. The only thing I had to get use to was the resting voltage. Other than that, I would recommend these for 1/10 and 1/8 scale nitro rc's as an alternative to using 4 AA receiver packs.

Love these batteries. I ordered two of them to replace the Nimh batteries that gave me nothing but trouble. I don't know if it's because where I'm coming from with the Nimh but I think these are the best thing ever. I rarely charge it and it's always at 6.6v. Should have switched much sooner.

Quality battery must have xt60 adapter to charge on gens ace d300

Using this in my Kyosho Inferno NEO 3.0 and it fits perfectly, it actually fits better than the included AA battery holder which is a tad on the tight side. Very easy and convent to charge if you already have charging equipment for other vehicles.

What reviewers say

All six reviewers are verified owners of the 6.6V/1900mAh variant and rate it 5/5. Reviewers report reliable receiver power in nitro trucks (Tmaxx, Savage 4.6, Kyosho Inferno NEO 3.0, MP9 TKI4), with no brown-outs or run-aways after months of use, and say the pack holds charge well. Reviewers note a need to switch off the receiver power switch after use, and one notes that the pack does not fully tighten in the Tmaxx battery compartment, so it is not fully waterproof there. One reviewer found the resting voltage took some adjustment. Charging requires an XT60 adapter for at least one charger, and reviewers who already own LiPo charging equipment find it convenient. Fit is reported as good in most vehicles mentioned.

  • + No brown-outs or run-aways reported
  • + Holds charge well
  • + Fits Savage, Kyosho Inferno and MP9 battery trays
  • + Convenient if LiPo charger already owned
  • − Does not fully fit Tmaxx compartment, not fully waterproof
  • − Must remember to turn off receiver switch
  • − Resting voltage takes getting used to
  • − Needs XT60 adapter for some chargers
