The Reedy Radon 2 550 Crawler 5-Slot Brushed Motor features an extended length 550 size can which houses a longer armature and magnets, resulting in more torque than a typical shorter 540 can. An increase in torque makes the Crawler 550 ideal for heavier rigs or when encountering higher grip or steeper terrain. Thanks to the Crawler 550's 5-slot design, it still is capable of delivering precision throttle control, which is ideal for traversing the varying and changing terrain encountered on the trail.
Dual ball bearings improve performance and reliability while adjustable timing allows for adjustments to compensate for different drivetrain configurations that require reverse motor rotation, and for fine-tuning power output. Swapped out the stock 21T titan in my trx4 with this bad boy. Changed the timing to -15 and bam. Good motor down low, plenty of tourque, steady delivery. Drag braking is great. 2nd gear speed is def. Improved over stock as well. Great all around motor and adjustable for crawling/trailing and maybe bashing but it doesn’t have break neck speed or anything. Would buy again.
