Not very impressed with these at all. They don't fit (loose) correctly. I have stripped out 50% percent of my screws. Magnet tips are to week for the normal size hobby screw. Looking into the MIP ones.
I feel like I got ripped off. Amazon has these under a different name for half the price. Now I understand a little about Reefs. They just rebrand items and take a cut. Shady business and from now on not buying another “Reefs product”. Buy closer to the source for better pricing.
poor quality at the tip where it counts not recommended for 1/8 or larger cars weak magnetic charge on the tool
Very good fitment, nice machining. The 2.5mm, however, broke on the first usage. It was on a screw going into a metal motor mount on my Arrma Kraton. I ran it down, and as soon as it tightened up, it snapped the end off. There is enough still left over to effectively use the tool at least.
Nice drive tips. So far no issues. Been using the 2.0 mostly, but the others are getting use.
Reviews are mixed and mostly negative. Reviewers disagree on fit: one praises very good fitment and machining, while others report loose fit and stripped screws. Recurring complaints include weak magnet strength and soft tip material, with one reviewer finding a 2.5mm tip snapped on first use in a metal motor mount. One reviewer says the tool is unsuitable for 1/8 scale or larger cars. One reviewer reports no issues after regular use of the 2.0 size. A verified owner criticises the brand for rebranding and cheaper listings elsewhere, which concerns pricing rather than tool performance. Only five reviews are available, so the picture is limited.
