I have had this on my B6.4 for well over a year and it's still holding up. I like that the wing sits a little bit lower, but it also has threaded holes and makes changing wings less effort than the stock AE wing mounts. It may seem silly, but I actually really appreciate that. If it does break eventually, I will definitely get a new one.
Gives the car more rotation. Finally broke mine after a good year and a half of carpet racing and wrecks. Only downfall is the $30 price tag
Cannot recommend these. They're significantly less durable than the stock wing-mounts. After a week or two of racing one of the two broke in half and the "LCG" benefit is negligible. I'm a big fan of RD's products, but this one is a dud. They should have been aluminum, THEN they would be worth $25.
Three verified owners report mixed experiences with this B6.3 -5mm LCG wing mount set. One owner on a B6.4 reports over a year of use without failure and praises the lower wing position and threaded holes for easier wing changes. Another reports the set lasted a year and a half of carpet racing and wrecks, citing added car rotation but a high price. A third reports one mount broke in half within one to two weeks of racing and found the LCG benefit negligible, suggesting aluminum construction would justify the price. Durability is the main point of disagreement, and the reviews are few.
