Nice kit,i allways dreamed about a real american musclecar rc car, simple design, robust, easy to build, suits me perfectly, a 1/8 scale pan car is on my wishing list. Great delivery, packaging super, I love Amain hobbies. Thanks guys, greetings from Belgium.
Really awesome kit!!! Low price and performs great!! Well constructed and with just a few mods handles great! Totally recommend! Make sure to pay attention and read all instructions prior to building the kit. Building the kit is pretty easy but “TAKE YOUR TIME” to build it. Get some bearings for it ( only 6 needed). Drives great even with a sensored brushless 13.5 turn motor!!! Super Fast!!! With the right gearing.
This is a good car for racing or just plain bashing. If you follow the instructions as they are in the manual, it will go together quite easily. I used tie rods from a Traxxas instead of the ones supplied, which are adequate, but not very rugged. I have a Porsche 962 body for bashing and the supplied body for racing. Just try to find the smoothest pavement you can for best results. Overall, it's awesome.
Total waste of my money. I could not seem to figure out how to assemble the front suspension arms, so I decided not to continue building the kit.
Four verified reviews, three of them five-star and one one-star. Most reviewers found the kit easy to build when instructions are followed carefully, and describe it as well constructed, robust and fast with a brushless motor and suitable gearing. Reviewers suggest buying bearings, as about six are needed, and one reviewer replaced the supplied tie rods, calling them adequate but not rugged. Handling is described as good after minor modifications, and it is suited to both racing and bashing. The one-star reviewer could not work out how to assemble the front suspension arms and did not finish the build. Reviews are few and the sample is small.
- + Easy to build when instructions are followed
- + Well constructed and robust
- + Fast and strong with a brushless motor
- + Good value for the price
- − Supplied tie rods not very rugged
- − Bearings needed (about six) not included
- − Front suspension assembly unclear to one builder
