RPM Castle Mamba Monster ESC Cage for Traxxas 2WD

With the stock Traxxas ESC, there’s no solid mount available when you need to remove the ESC fan, like when you’re running in the wet or in the snow. That’s not a problem with the RPM ESC Cage. Simply remove two screws, unhook the fan, reinstall those two screws and you’re off; with the solid assurance RPM’s Cage is still holding tight to that valuable Castle ESC.
A separate on / off switch mount is included, and it bolts directly to the cage in one of two locations for extra versatility. Since the switch attaches to the cage, no extra time is needed to remove it during maintenance or if you decide to swap the ESC between vehicles.
The ESC Cage fits the Castle Mamba Monster X & Mamba Monster 2 ESCs, as well as the Traxxas MXL-6S ESC and fits in the stock location on the Traxxas E-Maxx, E-Revo and Summit.
Each RPM ESC Cage is manufactured from RPM's ridiculously tough blend of engineering grade nylons for a lifetime of worry-free performance. Each cage is molded in black and backed by RPM's limited lifetime warranty against breakage.
NOTE:
- The RPM ESC Cage for the Mamba Monster 2 & Mamba Monster X series ESCs works with Castle #010-0108-00, # 010-0108-01, # 010-0108-02, # 010-0145-00, # 010-0145-01 & # 010-0145-02 as well as the Traxxas MXL-6S ESC #3377.
- It has not been tested to fit on the original version of the Mamba Monster ESC.
- While this ESC Cage will fit a variety of applications, it has been tested and guaranteed to fit the following Traxxas vehicles in stock form only – E-Maxx, E-Revo & Summit.

Not great at all. This cage does not give the "warm and fuzzy" feeling of knowing your ESC is mounted well to the chassis. It has loads of flex at the corners/sides farthest from the two mounting screws. Also, the two options for mounting the ESC power switch are in the two worst possible places on the cage. I opted to just double stick tape my ESC power switch to the side of the ESC case instead of using the switch mount options on this cage. This cage could be so much better with just a couple changes.
Perfect match for a Mamba 2 ESC. Little advice: the switch mount has 1.25mm hex screws, so you if you want to mount it to the cage you'll need that; otherwise just use double sided tape. Also, the cage it's supposed to be screwed from above the chassis (where your electronics are), not from below; so take that into account also.
