About this part

This is a set of twelve RPM 4-40 Heavy Duty Rod Ends. These rod ends have oversized hexes and the ball cups are molded from RPM's blend of tough, bulletproof nylons to the strictest of tolerances. If you’re tired of popping ball cups and breaking rod ends, RPM rod ends are the solution! RPM rod ends fit all Associated, Losi, & HPI ball-studs. Like all RPM products, these rod ends are guaranteed by RPM not to break!

Always a great choice with RPM. These hold up great and are good replacements for vintage Team Associated ballcups. Also included are 2 RPM decals.

Just got a pack of these and they are too stiff. None of them move nearly as free on the ballstuds as the rod ends I am replacing.

I`ve used these Rod Ends longer than I`d like to admit. My only suggestion is to drill a small hole in the middle of the `cup` so your hex tool will fit through it. There maybe a little bit of clean out required, but it`s well worth it. Excellent product!

The only way to roll, use these on all our cars. Keeps us on the track instead of in the pits.

What reviewers say

Four of five reviewers rate these black RPM heavy duty 4-40 rod ends highly, describing them as durable, reliable replacements for vintage Team Associated ballcups, with one noting the included RPM decals. One verified owner reports the cups are too stiff on the ballstuds compared with the parts they replaced, and gives a 3/5 rating. One reviewer suggests drilling a small hole in the cup center so a hex tool fits through, noting some cleanout may be needed. Reviews are short and few in number, so the overall picture is limited.
