RPM Metric Ride Height Gauge
About this part
The RPM Metric Ride Height Gauge has a range from 4mm to 29.5mm, and the design uses a base and a slide that travels along a twenty degree angle. By using such a slight angle, the accuracy of the gauge increases dramatically while still allowing a broad height range. This gauge may be used to check most on-road or off-road vehicle’s ride height, including pan cars & sedans and it’s extremely accurate and easy to use!

It's $9, you get what you pay for. It's a horrible design. The only reason I rated it so high was because Amain's customer service is so good and they took care of me. I recommend the 100%, especially for shortcourse trucks- you can use it without removing the body and it's only $10.
I bought this to use with a Blitz and Slash as it was advertised as working with off road vehicles. It does not. It is impossible to get the side that measures the taller heights under either vehicle in a way to get an accurate measurement. Contacted RPM and the reply was that this was gauge was designed before SC trucks. The Losi gauge design works much better with SC Trucks.
Doesn’t work for “most off road” like the description states. It doesn’t really work for even 1/10 buggy. It goes to 17mm as the tallest setting. I could have seen it if I looked really closely so maybe the error is mine, but definitely an error in the description.
Doesn't work well at all it won't even go under the car.
Reviewers consistently rate this metric ride height gauge poorly, with an average around 2 to 3 out of 5. Several say it does not fit or measure correctly on the vehicles they tried, particularly short course trucks, Blitz and Slash models, and a 1/10 buggy. One reviewer reports the tallest setting is 17mm, which they say contradicts the listed claim of working with most off-road vehicles. One reviewer found the manufacturer's support responsive, stating the gauge was designed before short course trucks, and one suggests it can be used on a short course truck without removing the body. Reviewers disagree on little; the recurring problem is poor fit and inaccurate measurement on taller or non-standard chassis.

- − Does not fit under many off-road vehicles

- − Tallest setting is 17mm, contrary to listed claims
- − Design described as poor
