RPM Traxxas X-Maxx Upper & Lower A-Arms (Black) (2)
About this part
RPM Traxxas X-Maxx Upper & Lower A-Arms were developed to handle the weight and the punishment the massive X-Maxx trucks can dish out. Starting with the upper A-arm, RPM used their proven A-arm designs from past successful builds to create an upper support structure sure to handle anything you can throw at it! The lower A-arm has better ground clearance than stock A-arms and has a cross section based off of the proven RPM 1:5 scale HPI Baja A-arms so you know they’re tough! They also created a double support beam on the lower arms to spread impact energy over a larger area, meaning hard hits won’t force you into the “walk of shame”. They’re also universal fit, which means they’ll fit on any corner of your truck!
RPM X-Maxx A-arms are molded in RPM's trademark blend of incredibly tough, engineering grade nylons and made in the USA. RPM X-Maxx arms are backed by their industry-leading limited lifetime warranty against breakage for worry-free performance you can count on!

Tried these on my car and broke them within minutes. factory Maxx arms are a lot better. They certainly last a lot longer. Bottom arm broke where the shock mounts up. And rpm does not cover shipping costs outside of USA for warranty. Other side seems to be holding up fine. Along with the upper arms.
Much weaker than the stock arms. First and only run lasted about 3 minutes before the rear arm broke where it attaches to the axle carrier. 3 jumps completed. No wrecks, kartwheels, etc. Just landed and the wheel popped out at an awkward angle. Thanks RPM. This product was not worth the time it took to install let alone the money it costs.
i love them super tuff . only one problem the front lower pin pops out one high jumps. i am going to fix that problem with a a arm pin with nuts on both sides so it cant fall out when the a arm flexes . iv jumped like 30 plus foot high on concrete and no breakage.
Reviewers disagree sharply on durability. Two reviewers, both verified owners, report the arms breaking quickly, one after about three minutes of running, with failures at the lower arm near the shock mount and at the rear arm where it attaches to the axle carrier. One of them found them weaker than stock arms, and noted that warranty shipping costs outside the USA are not covered. A third reviewer, who did not indicate verified-owner status, praises their toughness after heavy jumping on concrete with no breakage, but reports the front lower pin popping out on high jumps and plans to add a retained pin with nuts. Overall, the sample is small and the experiences conflict.
