This is an optional RPM Wide Front Bumper, and is intended for use with the Traxxas Rustler, Stampede and Bandit 1/10 scale vehicles. Give that Traxxas Nitro or Electric Rustler, Stampede, Nitro Sport or Bandit added protection with the RPM wide front bumper. This bumper stands six inches wide and adds an extra 1-1/2" worth of bulletproof, RPM protection to the front end of the vehicle. RPM designed this bumper with the backyard basher in mind by making it with our guaranteed unbreakable blend of nylons and is molded in black to give it that stock-looking appearance, or in optional blue for a more contrasting appearance. These bumpers will help reduce front end damage during head on collisions with curbs, trees, etc.! Nothing surpasses the protection gained when your Traxxas vehicle is protected with an RPM wide front bumper!

Wow, this piece broke SO easy after one run. There's too much tension where it connects to the chassis. It broke in half like a cookie. Going back to the stock bumper.
I don't understand what those guys from the other reviews could have done to break this bumper. I've ran straight into trees, wooden beams, concrete curbs and landed on it from hitting jumps, and never had it break. It does its job very well! I highly recommend this bumper over stock or aluminum.
I do not know why it broke on the other guy's car, but it is holding great on mine. I have run my Rustler at the track way more than most Rustlers would ever see, so it has taken quite a beating. I actually can see the bumper's impact on the body and frame as it bent in after rough landings. It does bend a good bit, but without breaking though. I see a big difference in the landings. When you land a bit too low, on the nose, the stock bumper would plant you down and you would flip over. With the long RPM one, the landing is much more forgiving, and gives you a chance to slide back down on your wheels. Although technically, the best is not to even need that by jumping more level with proper throttle control as you take off anyways. It's just that the Rustler is not really build for short course action...
This is a great upgrade for your rustler! This will save you from many breaks on the front end of your truck. This was my first upgrade for my rustler and I would say it has saved me maybe 2 casters, 1 bulkhead and maybe a steering block or two from breaking. Great product!
This is the best RPM part I own. SUPER durable! Hard bashing, ran into concrete barriers and steel, nose dive off 10'+ drops. There is some flex, but good for absorbing shock. Have owned/used this bumper on my Rustler for the past 5 months. Highly recommended upgrade!
