Don't waste your money on this product because it does not blow any air hardly. Very disappointed in this product.
I picked this up as it was the cheapest option at the time. Plugged it into my rx at 6v and it makes a weird variable pitch sound that goes higher and lower... I don't have much faith in this lasting the test of time since it sounds weird out of the box and not a consistent pitch. Louder than my YR 40mm fan. 4 stars for being cheap and having a long wire. -1 for the weird sound it makes. ** Update I bought another and it spins really slow like the previous reviewer. The first one didn't spin this slowly. Avoid!
I thought this would be awesome as Ruddog's 40mm aluminum fan was good while it lasted. Well this fan does not use the same internals as the aluminum model. It spins at a very low speed and doesn't blow much air. Unfortunately I bought 2 of them. Don't waste your money.
All three verified reviewers rate this 40mm fan 1/5 or 2/5 and report weak performance: it spins slowly and moves little air. One reviewer notes an odd, inconsistent pitch-varying noise at 6V that is louder than a comparable fan, and another reports a second unit spinning even slower than the first.
