About this part

The Samix SCX10 II 313mm High Clearance Titanium Suspension Link Kit features machined in M4 threaded shafts that are compatible with the stock Axial M4 rod ends. More importantly, these links feature a high clearance bend design that helps to increase ground clearance. The link position is marked on each rod and each end has a through hole machined in that helps to make installation easy. Plus, when compared to aluminum links the titanium material is more durable and slides better over rocks. Package includes front and rear upper and lower links, as well as a panhard bar.

I don't know how it happened but after the very first run of my crawler building I noticed that the samix, front lower titanium link was severely bent (the threaded portion) Y try to carefully bend it back but the part just crack now my links are incomplete and my rig is stuck at the workbench again, I have photos of the problem http://i63.tinypic.com/21014d5.jpg apparently, titanium is not as hard or convenient as I thought

I had a link break on the 4th gate of my first comp run. The material looks to be poor quality where it broke. It was a small rollover the truck made two rotations and landed on it's wheels but the link was just hanging there.this item is complete trash

Great clearance and way better looking too! Have only been on my scx10.2 for about a month and I like them a lot.

What reviewers say

Reviewers disagree sharply on this titanium link kit. Two verified owners report structural failures: one front lower link was bent at the threaded section and cracked when straightened after the first run, and another link broke during a small rollover at a competition, which the reviewer attributed to poor material quality. A third reviewer, who has used the kit for about a month, praises the added clearance and appearance. The reviews do not establish how common these failures are, and the sample is small.

  • + Increased clearance
  • + Improved appearance
  • + Positive after a month of use
  • − Link bent at threaded section
  • − Link cracked during straightening
  • − Link broke in a small rollover
