Samix SCX10 III 8mm Brass Hex Adapter. These brass hex adapters offer 30 grams of added unsprung weight to your axles (15g front/15g rear). They are easy to install using the stock hardware and will help to increase the overall stability of the model. They have been machined from high quality brass material and feature a stealthy black finish with gold chamfered edges to add a custom look to your rig. Package includes four adapters.
NOTE:
- Hardware not included. Use AXI236172 if needed.
- May not be compatible with wheels equipped with extra wide wheel hubs.

These are for the portal axles only. Won’t fit the straight axle on the Early Ford Bronco SCX10 III. Would have been nice to know before buying. Samix website doesn’t even mention this.
These don’t come with any grub screws, just open holes that you can’t even used. Cheap company can’t even provide 4 grub screws...
Honestly just bought them to go along with the rest of my Samix parts. Couldn't say I for sure noticed any improvement but whatever gains I can get I'll take plus they look great, love that they didn't just go full brass. Nothing wrong with full brass but personally it just sticks out too much. Machined to perfection
Work great, no issues, what else to say...? Having a set screw is a huge upgrade alone- but add the extra 2mm and brass, and these are worth every penny.
