Very fragile, got notchy after 2 runs in offroad 2wd buggy on dirt.
Not recommended this servo installed in my 22x4 for practice after that i feel like lost of power can't control and found out servo was bad and didn't hit any hard impact. Waste of money... CORRECTION my SERVO model #SNW107A54478A
it's not compatible with the Sanwa SV plus zero ESC, which isn't listed on amain's website and is annoying because of the servo literally says "SSL" on it. would be good to have all the specs on here, amain...
I actually read the reviews prior to purchase, I thought these bad reviews are just isolated incidences. Bought this servo to take advantage of the SUR mode offered on my new m17 . i was wrong, servo broke similar to others had shared on my first outing in a new associated 6.3 , it wasn’t really all that bad of a impacts but yeah ..never had servo happened like this . Tough way to validate the reviews , money wasted. Bought a mks servo and never look back .
Complete garbage, do not buy this servo, spend a bit more and get a better one. The top plate on the servo is plastic and it breaks very quickly and the plastic bits jam the gears and strip the teeth. I destroyed 2 of these in 2 weeks in my stadium truck. I will be moving on from Sanwa electronics. Very disappointed. Wish there was a 0 stars option, this isnt even worth 1 star
Seven reviews, all rated 1 or 2 out of 5. Reviewers broadly agree the servo is fragile and fails after a short period of use, typically within one to three runs or practice sessions in buggies, trucks and on-road cars. Reported failures include notchiness, loss of control, stripped gears, and the plastic top plate breaking and jamming the gears. One reviewer had a compatibility problem with the Sanwa SV plus zero ESC and felt specifications were missing from the listing. Some reviewers note the servo is a good fit for their car until it fails, and one reviewer's servo was later confirmed to be defective. Several reviewers switched to other brands. Reviews do not mention a servo saver fitting in every case, and one reviewer's failure followed an impact they described as mild.
