About this part

Brushless Digital Servo with Extreme Torque

The Savox SB-3292SG Aluminum "High Torque" Brushless Digital Servo is engineered for demanding RC applications that require strength, precision, and consistent performance. This servo features a full aluminum case that improves durability while helping manage heat during extended use. Its brushless motor and advanced control system deliver a significant performance increase over the previous version, making it suitable for both crawling and racing. Built with steel gears and precision ball bearings, it is designed to operate smoothly even in harsh environments.

About the SB-3292SG Servo

Brushless Power Delivery

The brushless motor inside this servo provides a noticeable boost in torque and speed, giving drivers stronger response and improved control. Its advanced controller technology maximizes power output under load, ensuring consistent performance whether the vehicle is navigating technical terrain or accelerating on high-traction surfaces. This combination of motor and electronics creates a reliable system that performs well across a wide range of RC applications.

Aluminum Case

A full aluminum case surrounds the servo, offering both structural rigidity and efficient heat dissipation. This design helps maintain stable performance during long runs and reduces the risk of overheating under heavy loads. The aluminum housing also adds durability, making the servo more resistant to impacts and vibration during aggressive driving.

Precision Internal Components

Steel gears and precision ball bearings work together to create a smooth, dependable drivetrain inside the servo. The steel gear train provides the strength needed for high-torque applications, while the ball bearings reduce friction and extend the lifespan of the internal components. These features ensure consistent operation and long-term reliability for 1/10 to 1/8 scale vehicles.

Strong and very fast! Handling my 1/8 buggy with no issues. Haven't had problems like the other comments (fingers crossed)

Burnt up after only a few runs. Up to the point it failed it was extremely fast and extremely strong. Maybe it would have lasted if it were a 4BB design, or perhaps IP67 rated, which would be asking a lot for servo with these specs - can't have it all... That being said, I absolutely loved it while it lasted, but it didn't last long enough. Thankfully, Amain is great about returns and customer service. In the end, I went with an AGFRC SA81FHXW, little slower, smidgen weaker, tiny bit more expensive, but bulletproof.

Precise centering, virtually no play in the gears, fast & powerful. Will have to see how it holds up in terms of durability/reliability but for now it seems to be nearly perfect. Edit: After thorough examination and multiple test on the work bench, centering seems to actually be slightly inaccurate(a couple millimeters) when wheels are on the ground after steering either left or right. When the wheels are off the ground, the centering is basically perfect. This leads me to believe the motor may be a dud/weak. It's also very noisy at times when sitting at neutral(not the normal buzzing/crackling, but a much louder constant buzz) as if the motor is struggling to find the center. And I'm able to move the wheels about 5 millimeters with very little force using my fingers when it's sitting at neutral. I'm not sure if a servo this strong is supposed to move like that. It's very possible my expectations are just too high for these high end servos as I've gone through a couple different brands already(protek 630 and now savox sb3292SG) and haven't found one that centers my wheels perfectly. Will reach out to customer support with a video to see if they think this is normal behavior. Perhaps im just too much of a perfectionist wanting perfect centering so that my rc car will run in a straight line after turning the wheels either direction.

What reviewers say

Reviewers of the Savox SB-3292SG High Voltage variant agree it is very fast and powerful, with one describing tight centering and little gear play. Opinions diverge on durability: one verified owner reports the servo burnt out after only a few runs, while another has not yet tested long-term reliability. A later review notes slight centering error under load with wheels on the ground and louder buzzing at neutral, which the reviewer suspects indicates a weak motor. Reviews are few, so long-term reliability remains unclear.

  • + Very fast response
  • + Strong torque
  • + Precise centering
  • + Little gear play
  • − Reported burnout after a few runs
  • − Centering drift under ground load
  • − Louder buzzing at neutral
  • − Durability unproven
