I have 2 of these. It is now noted in the specs that some combinations will cause “brown out” issues. This is happening with 3 different types of Teiken ESC’s, absolutely ridiculous for a near $80 servo. However it does work great with my Reedy 510R. For these reason I give it a 3 star. You should not have to buy a capacitor or voltage regulator to get a product with this price tag to work.
Great performance from this servo. I used this for a 4wd SCT and it got me to a podium in a club race. Will buy again
This is a great servo for the money and black is a slick looking color, but I hate the sheath around the wire. Fortunately, with a careful hand a hobby knife the base can be cut down as well as the excess near to the Rx plug. The wire sheath can probably be cut away too. It's more difficult to hide this cable since it isn't as pliable as a standard wire.
