About the SW-2210SG Servo
Brushless Power & Steel Gear Durability
The SW-2210SG uses a brushless motor for fast transit times, strong torque output, and long-term reliability. Paired with precision steel gears, the servo maintains smooth, consistent movement under heavy load, making it ideal for aggressive off-road driving. This combination of speed and durability ensures dependable performance in demanding applications.
Waterproof Construction
With an IP67 waterproof rating, the servo is built to withstand water, mud, and debris commonly encountered in off-road conditions. Its sealed design protects internal electronics, allowing the servo to perform confidently during wet-weather runs and stream crossings. This level of protection makes it a strong match for vehicles that frequently operate in unpredictable environments.
Hybrid Case Design
A hybrid case pairs an aluminum center section with nylon composite top and bottom housings to improve heat dissipation and structural stability. The servo operates directly on 7.4V without requiring an external BEC, simplifying installation while delivering powerful, responsive output. Precision ball bearings and Plus-series features such as Soft Start and Sanwa SSR compatibility further enhance smoothness and control.

This servo is actually 555oz @ 7.4 and 624oz @ 8.4 volts. At 7.4 it can be run off a Lipo unregulated power. This is a great servo!
Brushless servo, sturdy construction with very smooth operation. I like these on crawlers class 1 and 2. Savox 1212 is also one of my favorites. Been using savox for over 10 years they have always been a long lasting servo.
Almost gave this 3 stars but I’m going to make sure I’m running 7.4 and not 6.0 first. I’m running this on an Arrma Kraton EXB 1/8 scale. Positives: It’s a fast servo and the water proofing appears well done. I have faith in getting it wet etc. Negatives: It is annoyingly loud. I knew savox servos were loud. Didn’t think I would care on an already loud basher. I was wrong ?. It just never shuts up. It’s also just not strong enough. When turning at a moderate to fast rate of speed it just isn’t holding the truck pushes through causing some pretty bad oversteer. Overall, for over a hundred dollars, all I felt I really paid for was good waterproofing. So, I don’t like it, but it isn’t a BAD servo. Feels like a 3 star to me but I think most would feel like it’s closer to a 4 star.
Three reviews, all for the SW-2210SG Black Edition, with mixed views. Reviewers agree the servo is well built, smooth in operation and waterproofed to a good standard. One verified owner reports 555oz at 7.4V and 624oz at 8.4V and says it can run unregulated from a LiPo. Another praises it on crawlers and notes Savox longevity. A 4-star reviewer, running it on a 1/8 scale basher, found it fast but loud and not strong enough, with oversteer under moderate-to-fast turning, and felt the price was mainly justified by waterproofing. Reviewers disagree on overall value and strength for high-load use.
- + Smooth operation
- + Sturdy construction
- + Good waterproofing
- + Fast response
- − Loud operation
- − Insufficient strength on basher
- − Oversteer under fast turns
- − High price for performance
