Scale Reflex Gorilla Mounts is a premium "Stealth" style magnetic body mount kit compatible with a variety of applications. From drift cars, to scalers - these are a great way to give your ride a more realistic look, by eliminating the body clips and body posts that poke through the body.
NOTE: The red aluminum spacers are used to adjust the height of the rear magnet. Silver spacers shown in photos are not included. The included spacers are compatible with most bodies, but some bodies may require a taller spacer to achieve the fit you want, such as the example shown in photos above. I know your looking at these, trying to tell yourself they are too expensive... BUT THEY ARE NOT! These are lifetime mounts, unless you do something dumb and strip a thread etc. Do it, spend the money, your sanity and chassis will thank you I promise.
The rear arms were too long so I couldn't use them. It would be nice if that size was given in the specification, or the length of the arm was adjustable like the MST kit. Also one of the thin disc magnets broke into two pieces so I had to find another magnet. But I used the front mounts in my car along with the rear magnets and the quality is nice. Edit - now one of the countersunk magnets has snapped in two.
Perfect magnet mounts if you wanna go the magnet route. Id still go MST for MST bodies
Installed on Rmx 2.0. Didn’t buy the yokomo front posts but was able to file mine down and make it work. A lot of work but pretty nice now that it’s done. Pretty costly too but seems to work well.
