The Schumacher -3mm Lower Carbon Fiber Rear Shock Tower for the Cougar LD3 is designed for high-traction carpet and turf racing, lowering the shock mounting position by 3mm to reduce the center of gravity, improve stability, and enhance jump landings. Engineered to perform best with standard stroke lengths, it includes a 2mm internal shock spacer to compensate for reduced droop caused by the lower tower height. Machined from 100% high-quality carbon fiber, this lightweight yet strong tower features lightly chamfered edges to help prevent splitting, while the simplified design removes the seldom-used outer shock mount hole. Compatible with stock shock guards and proven in competition at events like the Florida Carpet Championship and EOS Daun, it’s a performance-focused upgrade for serious racers.
