Let’s hype this amazing value transmitter! Amain shipped quickly and I had it within a week. The transmitter feels great in hand with quality materials and construction, adjustable wheel and trigger tension and trigger width and depth. The interface is pretty well designed and menus are easy to navigate. I was surprised by how fast S10 is - both in the user interface and how quickly it connects to the receivers. There is a long list of features and capabilities, from standard mixing and button customization to how the gyro reports position back to the transmitter, ABS, and even and customizable background images. There’s a lot here to explore and use for enthusiasts but it’s simple enough for a beginner to get started. The audio and vibration features might feel like gimmicks but really contribute to the quality of the experience- both have adjustable intensity and provide useful feedback when operating the transmitter. The flashlight is bright enough to be useful. Note the description is incorrect - this unit does NOT have a touchscreen.
Very happy with the remote. It feels good in the hand, and is very responsive. Using it on a crawler and a boat currently. Programming was easy and the customization was great. I currently have the trims setup as momentary switches for use with winches in a towing setup. The only thing I see as room for future improvement is that the display can be difficult to read in direct sunlight, but it was useable by changing the angle of the screen. When they release a smaller receiver, I plan on moving some more of my crawlers to it this winter for the 24th scale comp season to see how it does with rear steer.
This thing has every feature I wanted for half the price of its competitors. Works without any issue. It instantly became my new favorite radio. Highly recommend.
