This engine rocks! Just getting this bad boy broke in and it is very impressive. I'm happy all around..
For the price point on this engine, it is exceptional for an RC basher. I am running this in a Tekno NB48.4 buggy with a. Hypex B5 header and hypex 2135 pipe... Great quality and machining. I definitely recommend this engine and I've run many engines at all price points in all types of RCs
Excellent Quality Engine!! Produces alot of power and I bought a Turbo Button and installed then tested it really turned this engine into a Monster Engine!!! Insane Power on my Tmaxx Truck with extended chassis... You will Love this if you want dependability, Insane Power, with parts available just about everywhere!!!
This is a very good engine made by Golden Lion that makes the LRP. My USA1 make wheelies on 2nd gear on a rich tune. You need to do a good break-in as they are super tight at list 6 tanks on idle then 2 tanks on the road. Sleeves are very cheap in case you need them.
It's a good looking engine for the price range and it had no metal inside engine and had plenty of oil and now that I have the engine broken in properly its a powerful easy tuned good running engine I love it
Reviewers mostly rate this .28 rear-exhaust engine highly, praising its power, machining quality, value for money and ease of tuning once broken in. Several note that a thorough break-in is needed, with one reviewer advising lengthy idle and road runs before use. Reviewers mention good parts availability and inexpensive sleeves. One verified owner gave a 1/5 rating, reporting persistent idle and carburettor problems, vapour lock and difficulty tuning, and said support advice blamed the user. Overall sentiment is strongly positive, but the single negative review describes a recurring tuning and idle issue.
