This is a replacement Spektrum RC 7.4V 2000mAh Transmitter Battery, intended for use on many of the Spektrum Transmitters in both air and ground categories. Radios such as the DX9, DX8, DX5 Pro, and many more.
NOTE: To charge with a Spektrum Smart Charger, you will need SPM6834 and SPMXCA311.

Bought this for my DX5 Pro. It works great, but.... no one seems to know how to charge it externally from a transmitter (i.e. the DX5 Pro does not have a DC power port). The battery is a LiIon 2S and has no balance wire. Trying to charge it using a Prodigy 625 and the Spektrum interface cabe (SPM6834) results in an error message that there is an invalid cell count (no balance cable). I spoke with several people at several locations and no one has offered up a safe charge method. So - I can't recommend it if you are planning to use it in a DX5.
