The Spektrum RC 3S Smart G2 LiPo 50C Battery Pack with IC5 Connector provides pilots and drivers with an array of Smart benefits; Not only are charging parameters and performance data stored and uploaded automatically to Smart chargers, but no balance lead is needed — just one easy IC connection.

Smart G2 batteries come from the factory programmed to discharge automatically to a safe storage voltage of 3.90V after 72 hours of inactivity. The benefits include longer battery life, better performance over the life of the pack, and the peace of mind that comes from knowing your Smart battery is maintenance-free. You can change the battery's Auto Storage settings based on your own preferences. G2 batteries also offer a storage discharge rate that's three times faster than the previous G1 Smart batteries.

Enjoy the Smart Battery advantage of not having to set your own charging preferences. When a Smart G2 LiPo battery is connected to a Spektrum Smart charger, its unique charging parameters and health information upload to the charger from the battery's integrated memory microchip. Through the charger you can view and set preferences such as charge rates, so all that's required to charge the pack is connecting it to your Smart charger. That's the Smart Battery Advantage!

Taylor Morganon Spektrum RC 3S Smart G2 LiPo 50C Battery Pack (11.1V/5000mAh)

Just purchased this with a losi hammer rey and after the first five uses it stopped working on my spektrum s150 charger. A complete disappointment for the price you have to pay for these batteries. Have barley used the thing and now it just throws errors on my charger. Hopefully someone can help with this.

Battery stopped taking a charge after only 3 or 4 cycles. 1 of the cells inside took a dump and now the Spektrum charger only throws up an error message saying the cells are imbalanced. Very poor quality battery.

I bought this battery back in April and it has only 12 cycles on it. The battery only charges 2 of the 3 Cells and barely lasts 5 minutes. I didn’t realize the 3rd Cell was dead until I bought the Smart Checker. I am currently trying to get a replacement through its warranty but so far no word back. $79 is a lot a money for a battery that only lasted 12 runs of semi light use. I loved the idea of having 1 charger with a couple of these batteries and not having to worry about stuff. So far it looks like it wasn’t such a great idea.
