A need-to-have to update more than a want... you can do AS3X setups etc without it... but as far as RX updates, inc the 150 S heli, this was a must-have.

Works great with Spectrum DXe transmitter. I downloaded the UMX Timber profile from Spektrum's website and used this cable to register/update/upload the file to the transmitter. Fast and easy. Note that I originally tried to do this with the bluetooth cable and it didn't work.
