Spektrum RC BT2000 DX3 Smart Bluetooth Module
About this part
The Spektrum Dashboard is a gateway to various telemetry data sets displayed. Various sensors are displayed such as speed, engine temperature, battery voltage, and more.
Once installed, the real time telemetry data can be managed for all sensors such as RPM, temperature, receiver (rx) voltage as well as various alarms can be programmed to indicate low voltage, high temperature, and anything else you may find useful.
Installation Tip: Upon initial pairing with the installed Spektrum Bluetooth module, the application will update the transmitter firmware which enables the transmitter to receive telemetry data from the onboard telemetry receiver or telemetry module. Please do not close the application or power off the transmitter during the update process. The Dashboard application will not function until the transmitter is updated.

Santa purchased this for my Sons Talion EXB that comes with the DX3 transmitter and it just will not connect with the car and show the data. We contacted support and we got a technician on the phone but he was not able to figure it out with us after 30 minutes of trying different things. He said he thought it was an Apple issue because we are using Apple phones and said he would get back to us. In emailed him after some time went by (weeks later) but he never got back to us. Maybe this works better for Android phones but if you have an Apple phone or tablet then it may or may not work for you. I’m sure at some point Horizon Hobby will figure out the issue with Apple. We tried three different apples products, an iPhone 7, an iPhone 11, and an iPad Pro 2021 model. EDIT: Amain Hobbies is Awesome. What a fantastic company to deal with. They reached out to me and help me with my issue. Amain Hobbies has truly great customer service. Amain Hobbies will continue to get my business for sure! For them 10 stars! I also believe Horizon Hobbies as a company is a great company too. I know because I’ve purchased thousands of dollars of their products. I’m also friends with the owners of two local hobby shops in my area and they often give me the inside scoop on how good that company is.
very easy to install and use. I would highly recommend this upgrade
Doesn’t work at all it can’t even update, waste of time and money. Don’t buy save yourself.
Works perfect. I installed in the transmitter of my Promoto MX.
Did not work with iPhone 14 Pro with w/ IOS 26.1. Do is no way to tell until after you try to pair with your phone. Unfortunately it did not work for me and had to return it.
Reviews are split. Two reviewers rate the module 5/5 and report easy installation and use, including in a Promoto MX transmitter. Two verified owners rate it 1/5, reporting it would not connect or update, and one of these describes it failing with an iPhone running iOS 26.1. The 3/5 review describes pairing failure with Apple devices, a support call that did not resolve the issue, and no follow-up from support. One review is unintelligible and was disregarded. The recurring theme is compatibility trouble with Apple phones and tablets, while positive reports do not mention the phone platform used.
