Man all I can say is worth every damn penny if u gear it rt. Animal. Getting another one
Had good luck with the first one of these, so I bought a second one. Wasn’t so lucky this time. Installed it in the truck, took off, truck started bucking, then stopped. Flashing red light and won’t move. ESC smells burnt. Return process was very easy with A-main, and customer service was excellent as always, but I’m super disappointed that my truck is going to be down for a week and a half while I wait for my store credit. I wish there was a faster way.
A little bit of disappointment. The motor fan failed just after a couple of runs. And I almost didn't get a help from Amain Hobbies. When I was telling the problem to Amain, I was told they can't help me and rather I need to call Horizon Hobby to file a claim. What kind of support is that?. I tod them that I probably buy to Horizon Hobby next time instead of buying from Amain. Then suddenly the representative told me he can send me a motor fan at no charge. Well it seems my trust to Amain will come back.
Bought these esc combo to start with for my kraton exb 8s and seems to have enough power. Might pick up an 1100kv or 780kv motor if this heats up with the set up I’m running. I will find out when it gets warmer out. Other than that seems fine and 50+ mph 25t pinion with the stock spur.
System works good in my outcast 8s exb plenty of power even on stock punch level easy to hook up and calibrate..fast shipping as always with amain they even threw in a amain Rc magazine!awesome stuff amain keep it up!
