Fantastic Combo for Crawling. I have this setup in two of my SCX10II rigs and couldn't be happier. The low end control is perfect, you can crawl as slow as the throttle potentiometer in your TX will allow, and still retains plenty of wheel speed for ascents and mud should you need it. The ESC setting are great as well, pretty much what you would expect from a Hobbywing AXE plus Spektrums compatibility.

Love this system! I installed this into my Axial Ryft Crawler build and it is amazing! The throttle control is unbelievable and drag brake is flawless. My Ryft is heavy as well,all Vitavon portals with brass,Vitavon axle in the rear with 4ws and front Treal axle with all brass options so she's thick and this system don't miss a beat. Got it wet once and don’t work won’t even cut on or show a light brand new battery charged and balanced and still don’t work waste of money better off sticking with the mamba
I recently installed the Spektrum Firma Crawler Sensored Brushless Smart ESC & Motor Combo (2100Kv) in my Axial Capra 1.9, and I couldn’t be happier with the upgrade. Compared to the stock motor and ESC, the improvement is immediately noticeable. The low-speed control is outstanding. I spend most of my time technical rock crawling, and this combo delivers incredibly smooth throttle response. It allows me to creep over rocks and obstacles with much more precision and confidence than the stock setup ever could. The sensored system eliminates the jerky starts and makes the truck feel much more predictable in technical terrain. Power is another huge improvement. It has more than enough torque to tackle steep climbs and difficult obstacles while still providing smooth, controllable power exactly when I need it. Even under heavy load, the motor stays responsive and never feels like it’s struggling. Installation was straightforward, and once everything was calibrated, it performed flawlessly. The Smart features are a nice bonus, but what really impressed me is how much more capable my Capra feels on the trail. It has completely transformed the driving experience. If you’re looking for one of the best upgrades you can make to a Capra 1.9, I highly recommend this combo. I’m thoroughly enjoying it, and it has exceeded my expectations in every way!
