It is a decent charger but it gets hot!! Why did they cheap out and not put a fan in this even the cheapest Traxxas charger has a fan and its only rated for 3s spend a few more dollars and get the S1100
great charger from the stock mini b charges the mini b battery in half the time.it takes 30 minutes to charge with the stock charger and it takes me 15 minutes to charge with this charger. this is critical for Raceday's even though I have not raced but it gives me more time to practice. One tip is to make sure you are charging closes to the top ampage for my battery its 4A but the stock setting charges at 0.1A I think? so, change that before you lose time at the local track. #everysecondcounts Edit I just figured out this did not have a storage button which is stupid, so I do not recommend this charger just get a different brand don't get stuck in spectrum ecosystem.

Device does not function at all. It is supposed to simply start charging a G2 battery when plugged in. It reverts to the setup screen but absolutely nothing happens. I have to go back to the little chargers supplied with the cars.
Part of the screen backlight burned out within a few hours making it very difficult to read the screen. Had to return.
Reviewers are mixed. Several report fast, simple plug-and-go charging, including for Mini B packs, and one describes a good price. Recurring criticisms are that the charger gets hot without a fan and that it lacks a storage mode, although one reviewer says storage is set through the battery chip and another calls the storage function absent.
