Running on of these currently in Losi 8e2 in race conditions. It SEEMS great so far! Cant beat it for the price! Quick, and powerful. Time will tell, if it lasts a year I'd be perfectly happy and buy another.
This is a good servo for the price. I've been runnig for five month and i have not yet had any problem with it.
had it about 4 months in my 1/8 buggy no problems yet probally will get another.
Only lasted aprox 6 battery packs on my 2c ecx ruckus. But good while it lasted
This servo is a bit weak for a crawler, worked alright for two 15 minute sessions, then it CAUGHT ON FIRE AND MELTED! (It did make for a good video though with all the smoke.) Everyone else I know that's had this servo the nylon gear quickly stripped out.
Reviewers report mixed experiences with this plastic digital servo. Several users in buggies and a Losi 8E2 describe it as quick, powerful and good value for the price, with some noting no problems after several months of use. Other reviewers report early failure: one owner says it lasted about six battery packs in an ECX Ruckus, and another describes it as weak for crawling, with a stripped nylon gear and a melted unit after two sessions. Reviewers generally agree it is inexpensive and performs well in initial use, but durability is the main point of disagreement and recurring concern.
