Don't let the other review on here fool you. This servo is absolutely amazing! I put it in my Losi DBXL-E 2.0. I had to drill a hole in my stock servo tray to put the wire through because this servo isn't as tall as stock. I like that the power cord to this detaches so you can put the servo in tight mounts without the wires getting in the way during installation. This servo is so quick and powerful, I almost had to re-learn how to drive. I barely have to turn the wheel on my controller and it just whips that thing in whichever direction you want it to go. I am running it on 8.4v but am considering running on 6v because of how powerful this servo is.I highly recommend this servo. I did not buy it on Amainhobbies.com, I purchased at my local hobby shop. IF you have a problem with the servo, Amain hobbies has amazing customer service and they will help you out! (IF you buy it at your local hobby shop and have any issues, then you will have to contact horizon hobbies)
Worked great for about half a battery. Now it doesn’t work. It doesn’t turn when it’s supposed to, it’s super slow. Guessing it’s broken. 2 stars cause it worked fine for the first half of a battery.
Great servo I own 3 I like the 9110 best it’s faster
It's got good torque and speed for a low profile 1/5 servo. Works for what you need! Would expect a full aluminum case at this price, as well as no mechanical limit to travel and the thing Crunches when it moves! Like it's got bad gear but works fine!
Reviewers generally describe the Spektrum S9110BL as fast and powerful, with one owner citing good torque and speed for a low-profile 1/5 servo and another owning three and preferring it. One reviewer installed it in a Losi DBXL-E 2.0, noting it is shorter than stock and needed a drilled servo tray, and praised the detachable power cord for tight mounts. Reliability is disputed: one owner reported it worked for about half a battery and then slowed or stopped, while another reported crunching noises when moving. A third reviewer wanted an aluminum case and mechanical travel limits at this price. The sample is small, so these views may not be representative.
