my favorite steel rims put them on my trx4 and I love them and are on 2.2 proline tires and no dents and rust after a year 5 star
Doesn't even fit 3 different sets of my 1.9 tires such a let down
HORRIBLE!!! i bough 2 set and out both them set they since went to the garbage. ONE super lite weight, 2 the beads not not lock in like they should have , and 3rd on one weigh i have every bolt head snap off. i have used SSD for years and i have NEVER had this much crap out of bead locks
Perfect rim, very easy to assemble. You must be sure the two half’s are aligned properly or you will have trouble with the mounting bolts. This was the only reason I’ve stripped a bolt, also have chrome 5 slot rims. Highly recommend the brass rings and maybe a pack of spare bolts just in case
These wheels look great, but the hardware is trash. One screw broke in half when trying to remove the screw and was left in the threads, leaving me not able to take apart the wheel. Depending on how Amain responds to this, the stars will go up/down. EDIT: I really love Amains customer service, they offered a discount on a set of New wheels, but found out I can get just a hub so told them to not worry about it. New hubs came and they are awesome! I think I used too much locktite.
Reviewers largely agree the wheels look good and are praised for their appearance and, in some cases, durability over a year with no dents or rust. Installation is a recurring difficulty: halves must be carefully aligned, tires may need stretching or lubricating to seat, and bolts can strip or break. Several reviewers report hardware failures, including a broken screw left in the threads and bolt heads snapping off. Fit and weight also drew complaints, with one reviewer saying the wheels did not fit their 1.9 tires and another reporting inconsistent weight between sets. Opinions diverge sharply, with some reviewers rating five stars and others one star, largely depending on whether they had fit or hardware problems. One reviewer reported a positive experience with the manufacturer's customer service after a broken screw.
