Have run a few packs using this bumper and so far it’s been OK. It hasn’t bent on me, where the paint has scraped off it has rusted a bit which can be a good or bad thing depending on the look you’re going for. My only real issue with it is it seems to hang up on the ends if you come into an obstacle that is offset of your line. Great protection for the price but I will probably seek a narrower bumper next time.
It fits exactly like they said to my Jeep Cherokee Hardbody. It's exactly what I wanted a basic plain bumper. Don't really nice really solid piece and if you got the Cherokee body it would be a great purchase.
Looks great on the Defender body!. It does bend pretty easy. The first time I ran into something it noodled. As I like the look I’ll probably get another one.
Fit perfectly. Looks great. The black finish chips off pretty easily though I think it adds to the look. Like another reviewer mentioned, mine bent. Although it was definitely a harder hit than crawlers normally take. (For context my TRX-4 serves as more of an ultra 4 truck for me.) I’ll definitely buy another if/when this one goes kaput.
Great fit on a trx4 defender. Simple and elegant. Should come with a fairlead for using it with servo winch
Reviewers generally report good fit on Jeep Cherokee and Defender bodies, with several praising the simple look and value for the price. Some note the bumper bends or noodles after a hard hit, and one reviewer said it bent even though the hit was harder than typical crawling. Finish wear is mentioned: paint or black coating scrapes or chips, and one reviewer saw rust where paint came off, which some find fits their aesthetic. One reviewer found the ends hang up on offset obstacles and plans a narrower bumper next time. One reviewer used it as a rear bumper on a TRX-4 Sport, and another suggested a fairlead would be a useful addition. Six reviews is a small sample.
