Plastic ball ends stretched out after a few runs. Going back to the cheapy option....

Got this kit replacing steering links fron vanquish, as I use front cvds on my bomber. Also replaced rod ends with rpm because vanquish rod ends are garbage. Was able to do lots of bashing, crawling, and rock racing, with appropriate steering degree.

tried couple brands and this one works the best for SMT10. does not touch the diff/axle cover.

What reviewers say

Four reviews for the SSD RC M4 Titanium Steering Links (Wraith, RR10, SMT10 variant) average high. Reviewers praise the fit, toughness, and clearance, with one noting it does not touch the diff or axle cover on an SMT10 and another reporting good steering angle during bashing, crawling and rock racing. One verified owner reported that the included plastic ball ends stretched after a few runs and switched to a cheaper option. The other reviewer used aftermarket rod ends, so the ball-end complaint is not contradicted but is limited to a single report.

  • + Good fit
  • + Tough construction
  • + Clears diff and axle cover on SMT10
  • + Good steering angle for bashing and rock racing
  • − Plastic ball ends stretched after a few runs
