Having the same fitment and rubbing issue as Zack, except it is also compounded by bad service from SSD. I emailed SSD about this issue on 11/18. They responded once asking for photos, which I promptly provided, and they have never followed up. I’ve emailed 3 more times in the last month requesting an update. Cannot recommend these or any other SSD products under any circumstances. UPDATE: They responded today and basically told me to get out the Dremel and deal with it.
I purchased this part for my SCX10iii RTR. Unfortunately the diff cover was not properly machined to clear the front locker. This was evident when I first test fit the part and it would not go flush. I tried to suck it down with the screws to see if it was just a small fit issue with the brass/plastic. Well before the part was tight I began to feel drivetrain binding. You CAN make this part fit with some hand grinding, but for the money it should fit without this. The only reason I gave it 2 stars was because the overall quality other than the fit is quite good.
Rubs on locker just as the others state. Not a direct match to base of pumpkin. Complete trash that will ruin your axles unless you grind the shit outta them.
Bought 2 of these for two of my scx10 III. Both fit as they should and looks great. Highly recommended.
Amazing fit and finish. These fit perfectly on the stock housings and the angles do reduce drag on rocks and obstacles. Extremely durable as well.
