As far as scale realism the rotors are drilled and slotted the same way, disappointed there. The locking and unlocking is fairly hit or miss. Not super consistent. Install is easy but directions could be done in a more step by step efficient way.
I really liked this item. It fit well with my Vanquish Currie Rock Jock axle for Axial scx10-II. The only thing I had to do was to Dremel a bit off the end cut of the stub axles that fit into the differential. It was a little tight. The instruction sheet could have been a bit clearer. It was just a copy of a copy. And I paid the full 109 dollars for it. But overall, it is a neat piece of engineering and the scale is really nice. If you want to use scale bolts to attach the rims you will need M2.5x8mm. My Vanquish hubs used M3x8mm and I didn't want to use the black non-scale hex bolts that came with the kit.
